The Market Area abounds with specialty shops,
antiques, and a few well known national retailers.
The boundaries for Kentucky's 120
counties were set some 200 years ago and have no real
correlation to modern market areas. Our community is
home to a Wal-Mart Supercenter that was completed
in 2007 and new shopping opportunities are planned.
Our downtown has been
painstakingly restored to its original look and there is
rarely a vacancy in a downtown shop.
National chain retail establishments
are only 8 miles away in Danville and Lexington, Kentucky's
second largest city is but a 30 to 45 minute drive away
up U.S. Hwy 68 through one of the most scenic areas in
central Kentucky.
