Dogs: Dogs older than 4
months must be licensed and vaccinated for
rabies annually. The License fee for a
neutered or spayed dog is $3.00. The fee
for a non-altered dog is $5.00.
Leash Law: There is a county wide leash
law.
Barking: There is a county wide barking
ordinance.
Ferrets: Ferrets must be
immunized for rabies annually but do not
require a license at this time.
Cats: Cats older than
4 months must be immunized for rabies
annually but do not require a license at
this time.

be obtained at the Mercer County Humane
Society, from the animal control officer and
local veterinarians.
