plethora of outdoor activates abound at this

Fort Harrod State Park is a
reconstruction of the first permanent

Mercer County Fair and horse
show has been held since 1828 and is the
oldest fair and horse show in Kentucky. The
fairgrounds is a busy place year round with
horse shows, concerts, pageants, the
Fort Harrod Beef Festival and many other
events.

The Ragged Edge Community Theatre
This local thespian group has their own
dedicated facility. Join them for their

Shaker Village of Pleasant Hill
is a living history museum with 34 restored
structures on 3,000 rolling acres just a few
miles east of Harrodsburg near the Kentucky
River Palisades.
Besides delicious dining and

rides, craft demonstrations and tours, both

Twin Hills Drive-in Theater
is one of only 12 remaining drive-ins in
Kentucky. The Twin Hills complex
re-opened for the 2006 summer season and has
been growing in popularity ever since.
During the Drive-in heyday there were 116
screens open in Kentucky.
